Each year at the Christian Education Conference an award is given to honor and recognize a CEA member who has made an outstanding contribution in the field of Christian education throughout their years of ministry.

Candidate Guidelines:
The Hobert Rideout Excellence in Christian Education Award recognizes persons whose impact has reached beyond their contribution to a local ministry or congregation by:
· providing leadership, vision and/or direction in our brotherhood in one of the areas of Christian Education Ministry · providing mentoring to or making a significant impact on others as they have grown and developed in their own ministries of Christian Education · providing leadership or outstanding service for the Christian Education Association (CEA)
